Patricia Gherovici est psychanalyste, elle exerce à Philadelphie et à New York. Elle a obtenu en 2020 le Sigourney Award pour son travail clinique et théorique à propos de la question du genre et de la communauté latino aux Etats-Unis.
Elle a est la co-fondatrice et la directrice du Philadelphia Lacan Group et de l’Associate Faculty, Psychoanalytic Studies Minor, University of Pennsylvania (PSYS).
Elle est membre honoraire de l’IPTAR, l’Institute for Psychoanalytic Training and Research à New York.
